Teaching

I lecture on a range of environmental issues, particularly focussing on environmental management in Scotland, climate change impacts and adaptation strategies, and the global geographies of conservation.

 

For the past 4 years I held Teaching Fellowship (p/t) in the School of Geographical and Earth Sciences at the University of Glasgow.

Geography Level 1
Lead lecturer on the Changing Biosphere module.

Geography Level 2
Lectures in Environmental Management as part of Environmental Geography section of the course.
Part of Field Trip staff leading a human geography project on local understandings of global climate change.

Geography Honours
Lecture on the Conservation honours option.

MSc Aquatic Sciences
Lecture on impacts of climate change on freshwaters.

 

Administrative/Student support roles
Lead on aspects of the Student Lifecycle Project for the Geography degree.

Member of the Exploration Council, a sub-committee of the University Court. The Exploration Council oversees the many wonderful student expeditions which run through the University of Glasgow Exploration Society. Visit their website to find out more.
